DESCRIPTION:This is a project-based class for beginners and intermediate artist.  Each week we’ll focus on a particular technique in handbuilding and surface decoration\, creating unique pieces for your home and table. Explore different clay building techniques; coil building\, slab rolling\, using hump/slump molds\, and wall extruder.  \nThis class will take place on Tuesday evenings\, from 6pm-9pm.  Classes will run on January 6\, 13\, 20\, 27\, February 3\, 10\, 24 (NO class Feb 17)\, March 6\, 13\, 20\, 27.  Maximum 8 students per class.  Tools\, supplies and firing fees included.  Missed classes can be made up during alternative class times (tues/wed/thurs). \nAriella is a ceramic artist with over a decade of experience on the potter’s wheel.
