SUMMARY:Handbuilding in Clay - Tuesday Nights
DESCRIPTION:This is a project-based class for beginners and intermediate artists.  Each week\, we will focus on a particular technique in handbuilding and surface decoration\, creating unique pieces for your home and table. Classes run for 3 hours and allow students to develop their own projects\, carrying them over from week to week. \nThis class will take place on Tuesday evenings\, from 6pm-9pm.  Classes will run on April 14\, 21\, 28\, May 5\, 12\, 19\, 26\, June 2\, 9. \nThere is a maximum of 6 students per class.  All materials\, tools\, and firing fees are included in the class fee.  Missed classes can be made up during alternative class times (tues/wed/thurs). \nAriella is a ceramic artist with over a decade of experience on the potter’s wheel. Her passion for hand-building started a few years ago\, with a slew of bowls and cups in her cupboard and a desire to explore creativity\, form\, surface design\, and freedom in her ceramics.  Her pieces are influenced by her background in food\, cooking\, and pastry arts.  She loves to teach beginners and intermediate artists\, sharing her passion for clay and slow art.
