Turn Time Together Into Something You Can Keep
Slip Studio is a pottery and ceramic studio in White Plains, NY, where artists, potters, makers, and anyone curious about working with clay can come together to create, learn, and connect. From discovering a new hobby to finding kiln access, professional studio space, or a creative community to call your own, Slip Studio offers flexible options for every skill level.
There’s something different about making with your hands, especially when you’re doing it alongside people you enjoy. Working with clay invites you to slow down, experiment, laugh, and be present without worrying about making something perfect. At Slip Studio, what you create is only part of the experience. It’s also about the time spent together, the connections you make, and the memories that become part of whatever you bring home.

Discover the Joy of Making Something With Your Hands
There’s something deeply satisfying about making something with your own hands. In a world where so much of our time is spent moving quickly, looking at screens, and jumping from one thing to the next, working with clay invites you to slow down and focus on what’s right in front of you. You can experiment, follow your curiosity, make a mess, change your mind, and watch an idea gradually take shape. The finished piece matters, but so does everything that happens while you’re making it.
At Slip Studio, creativity isn’t reserved for people who already consider themselves artists. Our pottery and ceramic classes welcome beginners discovering clay for the first time, experienced potters continuing to develop their skills, and anyone looking for a creative outlet that feels engaging and rewarding. There’s room to learn at your own pace, explore different techniques, develop your own style, and enjoy the freedom of making without the pressure of perfection.
More than anything, Slip Studio is about creating a space where people feel comfortable exploring, learning, and connecting. Spend time with people you love, meet others who share your curiosity, or carve out a little time that belongs entirely to you. Come for the clay, stay for the conversations, and leave with something made by hand and an experience that stays with you long after you leave the studio.
