Candle Making – Double Workshop!
The Copper Faucet Soap Company x Slip Studio present a candle making workshop. In this two-part workshop you’ll make your own ceramic vessel and then pour your own custom scented candle.
Part one includes a 2hr workshop of hands-on clay making. Using the coil building method Ariella will walk you through shaping your clay vessels just the way you like them! You’ll shape, decorate and finish your pieces ready to be fired and glazed (in your choice of our house made glazes).
Part two will happen two weeks later, after your vessels are fired and cooled. Jill from The Copper Faucet Soap Company will show you how to pour your own candle. Participants will learn the basics of candle making including the different types of wax options, how to properly wick a candle, and candle making/burning safety. Choose from a variety of candle scents and wax colors. No experience necessary!
Your personalized candles will be ready to take home at the end of the second workshop, just in time for Valentine’s Day!
This is a two-part workshop series:
- Wednesday January 21st from 7-9pm – Vessel Making
- Wednesday February 4th from 7-9pm – Candle Pouring
