Slip Studio offers membership for clay artists and home potters seeking shared studio access, kiln firing services, and a welcoming creative community.
Our studio is one large workspace, so space is limited. We use an application process to make sure our members’ needs and our studio’s vibe align. If you’re passionate about clay and are looking to expand your knowledge and community, we’d love to hear from you!

Membership – $100/month
Perfect for home-studio artists needing kiln access and glazing support. Slip Studio is open from 10am-6pm Monday to Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends. Drop off your pieces anytime, or schedule your glazing appointment through our member portal.
Perks! Slip Studio members receive a 10% discount on all workshops and classes. Members also gain access to the studio for reference books, community support and quarterly member meet-ups, a chance for like-minded artist to mingle and make for an afternoon or evening open studio session.
Firing Fees & Details
- Our Skutt kiln fires twice a week.
- We fire bisque to cone 04 and high-fire glaze to cone 6.
- We also offer occasional luster & decal firings.
- Firing fees range from 4-6 cents per cubic inch (measures by the 1/2 inch)
- All firing fees are paid directly through the member portal.
- A security deposit of $100 is charged at the beginning of your membership term.
- Cancellation: 30-day notice required
