This clay class is for middle school students in grades 6-8.  Every Wednesday from 4:30-6pm

Winter Session runs 11 weeks from Jan 5th - March 27th 2026. (No classes the week of Feb 16).

Learn the basics & expand your skills, creating unique pieces for your bedroom and friends. Bring your inspiration and we'll teach you how to build out of clay, exploring different building techniques. We'll focus on form and creativity, finding your voice, and developing your style. Using a variety of decorating techniques we'll build skills and confidence is creating anything you can imagine.

This class will take place on Wednesdays from 4:30-6pm.  Classes will run on January 7, 14, 21, 28, February 3, 10, 24 (NO class Feb 17), March 4, 11, 18, 25.

Max 8 students per class.  Tools, supplies and firing fees included.  Sorry, no make-ups.

Ariella is a ceramic artist with over a decade of experience on the potter's wheel. Her passion for hand building started a few years ago with a slew of bowls and cups in her cupboard, and a desire to explore creativity, form, surface design and freedom in her ceramics.  Her pieces are influenced by her background in food, cooking and pastry arts.  She loves to teach beginners and intermediate artists, sharing her passion for clay and slow art.
