This workshop is Free Play with Clay.  There is no set project, and you can choose to make whatever you want! Of course, we have lots of ideas and inspiration to help you along. We'll spend the first hour making our creations, and the next hour will be spent glazing our pieces with bright colors!  Your masterpieces will be fired and ready for pick-up 4 weeks later.

Family Clay Date is a 2hr clay workshop for you and your kids to do together!  Work on separate projects, kids, teens, and adults working at their own pace and skill level.  This is a project-based workshop, suitable for kids 8+ and their caregivers. All material, tools, and firing fees are included. Tickets are sold individually, so please purchase a minimum of two tickets for each parent/child duo.

    This week is all about PLAY! Make your favorite characters and game pieces, and let’s create some stop motion videos.  Minecraft boxes, chess and checker game pieces, tic-tac-toe boards, and volcanoes. We’ll even make a mug decorated with your favorite anime characters.

    Kids Clay Camp Week 4 - July 27-31st - A week at the Jellycat diner!

    This week *everything* will be cutesie and tiny!! We’ll be working [small] and making jellycat magnets, beads, and teensy tiny, little things... plus jewelry and ring dishes for all of your keepsakes. Transfers, textures, decals and cutters, wires and weaving, and even a little gold luster if we can fire our pieces in time!

    Each week, two camp sessions will be offered: lower school mornings from 9:30 am-12:30 pm for kids in 3rd-5th grade and middle school afternoons from 1:30-4:30 pm for kids in 6th-8th grade.

    Kids Clay Camp Week 5 - Aug 3rd - 7th - Baking with Chocolate

    As you can tell, this will be a favorite week for many, chocolate! Dark, milk, and white, we’ll be layering clay and making imprints and checkerboards using brown and white clay. Chocolate fondue, anyone? Yes, please! How about a mug cake? First, we’ll have to build our own mug, then we’ll have to test the recipes (of course:)).
