Shandra Woworuntu is an Indonesian-American chef, activist, advocate, and survivor of human trafficking and domestic violence. Alongside sharing Indonesian culture and cuisine through food, she is internationally recognized for her work empowering survivors and advancing anti-trafficking efforts worldwide. She is a founder of Selera Kitchen (IG@selerakitchen) where she teaches cooking classes and workshops.

Born and raised in Indonesia, Selvia brings the rich flavors, traditions, and storytelling of Southeast Asian cuisine into every dessert she creates. As a pastry chef and recipe developer based in Westchester, New York, her work is deeply inspired by the vibrant markets, homemade treats, and daily food rituals I grew up with.

From naturally flavored chiffon cakes and tropical-inspired pastries to handcrafted high tea experiences, her goal is to create desserts that connect people through warmth, memory, and shared experiences. Whether developing recipes, hosting events, or baking custom creations, she is passionate about making food that feels meaningful, approachable, and unforgettable.
