Looking for a date night or a mom's night out?  This is a casual 2hr workshop, no experience necessary!  Bring your creativity and your friends for a mindful evening and a chance to unplug. 

In this hands-on workshop we'll make a matcha set: tea bowl and chasen holder. We'll make a pinch pot tea bowl (with or without a spout) and roll out clay for a slab built chasen (whisk  holder).  Make it all your own using textures, stamps and decals.  Ariella will the fire, glaze and re-fire your pieces, ready for pick up 4 weeks later.  All materials and tools are provided. 

While we work, we'll enjoy matcha tea and a selection of Japanese delights including amazing cream puffs made by Cream Bomb NYC.  Naoko from Cream Bomb NYC makes the most deliciously silky Japanese style cream puffs in a variety of flavors. Come hungry!
