A private clay party just for you and your friends!

We've booked the studio for you and your gang to make cool stuff. This class will take 2-3hrs, depending on your stamina and attention span and also what we choose to make!:)

Min 4/ Max 12 students per party. 

Please wear comfy shoes and clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Clay and glazes do come out in the wash, but just don't wear anything too precious. We have class aprons for you to use, and hooks to keep your belongings free of clay.  Please submit 3-4 dates and times that are convenient for your group, and we can pick at date that works.

Feel free to bring your own food or snacks, as well as ideas and inspiration!  Additional food may be added as an ADD-ON. A classic homemade birthday cake, drinks and decorations, or adults beverages and a curated selection of nibbles and small bites.

All material, tools, clay and firing fees are included in this class. Your pieces will be fired, glazed and re-fired by Ariella and ready for pick up 4 weeks after your class.

Our studio is located at the Switch 210 building, 10 County Center Road in White Plains, NY. We're on the first floor, suite #127.  As you enter the building, go up the stairs and turn right, wrap around the corner and we're in the back end on the right. 

Parking is free in our adjacent lot, or out front on the street.

Have you always wanted to learn how to throw on the wheel?

I offer hands-on private wheel throwing classes. Each lesson is 2 hours long and takes you through all the steps needed in learning the basics and beyond. Clay body, wedging, centering, and throwing to shaping, trimming and altering. No glazing. Just making.

This is foundational learning for the beginning to intermediate potter, learning how to throw on the wheel with hands on guidance.

All tools, clay and firing fees included. Glazing is optional in studio basic colors, and done outside of session time.

Learn the basics & expand your skills, creating unique pieces for your home and table. This class will take place on Tuesday evenings, from 6pm-9pm.  Classes will run on November 4, 11,18, 25 and December 2, 9, 16.  Max 8 students per class.  Tools, supplies and firing fees included.  Sorry, no make-ups. We are happy to accommodate open studio time for missed classes.

Ariella is a ceramic artist with over a decade of experience on the potter's wheel. Her passion for hand building started a few years ago with a slew of bowls and cups in her cupboard, and a desire to explore creativity, form, surface design and freedom in her ceramics.  Her pieces are influenced by her background in food, cooking and pastry arts.  She loves to teach beginners and intermediate artists, sharing her passion for clay and slow art.
