Tamara from Agape Premium is going to walk us through important factors we should know when buying, tasting and using extra virgin olive oil. We will taste and talk olive variety and terroir. We will also talk cooking, usage and storage for optimal health benefits. Come hungry to learn and eat! We'll make some dipping oils to taste and of course wine and nibbles to share.
The second half of our workshop will focus on making your own garlic grating dish. We'll have leather-hard small plates for you to paint with slips and underglazes, using sgrafitto tools in making ridges and patterns. Don't worry, we'll show you how! Pieces will be fire, glaze and re-fire by Ariella ready for pick up 4 weeks later.
