Slip Studio offers membership for clay artists and home potters seeking shared studio access, kiln firing services, and a welcoming creative community.
Our studio is one large workspace, so space is limited. We use an application process to make sure our members’ needs and our studio’s vibe align. If you’re passionate about clay and would like to expand your knowledge and community, we’d love to hear from you!
Membership Details:
- Our Skutt electric kiln fires at least twice a week
- 14+ Studio-made glazes and 50+ Commercial glazes
- Amaco underglazes, colored slips, tools, and decorating materials
- 3 Clay bodies
- Occasional luster & decal firings
- Full kiln rental available
Applications are now open – space is limited!
- Schedule an interview & tour with Ariella
- Agree to a minimum 2-month commitment
- Sign the membership agreement
- Approve your clay and firing materials for our kiln
- Pay the first month’s fees + $100 setup fee
Glaze & Fire
Perfect for home-studio artists needing kiln access and glazing support. Drop off your greenware for bisque firing anytime during business hours, then come in to glaze when class is NOT in session.
- Tuesdays 1 pm - 9 pm
- Wed- Thurs 1 pm - 6 pm
- Fridays 10 am - 6 pm
- Saturdays 10 am - 1 pm
- Sundays 1 pm - 5 pm
Studio Member
Enjoy all the perks Slip Studio has to offer with 24/7 key-holder access. Two pottery wheels, slab roller, wall extruder, hump/slump molds, templates, colored slips, and tools.
