Slip Studio offers membership for clay artists and home potters seeking shared studio access, kiln firing services, and a welcoming creative community. Our studio is one large workspace, so space is limited. We use an application process to make sure our members’ needs and our studio’s vibe align. If you’re passionate about clay and would like to expand your knowledge and community, we’d love to hear from you!
Membership Details:
- Our Skutt electric kiln fires at least twice a week
- Selection of studio-made & commercial glazes
- Use of Amaco underglazes, slips, tools, and decorating materials
- Bisque (cone 04) & high-fire glaze (cone 6) firings
- Occasional luster & decal firings
- Firing fees: 8 cents per cubic inch for combined bisque and glaze firings
- Full kiln rental available
- Clay bodies available for purchase

- Pay the first month’s fees + $100 set-up & security deposit
Perfect for home-studio artists needing kiln access and glazing support. Drop off your greenware for bisque firing anytime during business hours, then come in to glaze during open studio hours:
- Tuesdays 1-9 pm
- Wed- Fridays 1-6 pm
- Select Saturdays
