We've booked the studio for you and your gang to make cool stuff. This class will take 2+hrs depending on your stamina and attention span and also what we choose to make: face mugs, cheese boards, stamping vases, tic tac toe board, bubble glazing, jewelry dishes, you name it!

The price is all-inclusive for up to 8 guests; use of the studio, instruction, materials, tools and firing.  Additional guests are $85 per person, up to 12 people max.

A private pottery party just for you and your friends!

We've booked the studio for you and your gang to make cool stuff. This class will take 2+hrs depending on your stamina and attention span and also what we choose to make: cups and mugs, tic tac toe boards, jewelry dishes, candle holders, charcuterie boards, you name it!

The price is all-inclusive for up to 8 guests; use of the studio, instruction, materials, tools and firing.  Additional guests are $85 per person, up to 12 people max. Your pieces will be fired, glazed and re-fired by Ariella and ready for pick up 4-6 weeks after your class.

Our studio is stocked with teas, coffee, sparkling waters and snacks.  You're more than welcome to bring in your own food, drinks and cake.  If you'd like Ariella to assemble a cheese plate or grazing board please be in touch for details and additional costs.

Please wear comfy shoes and clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Clay and glazes do come out in the wash, but just don't wear anything too precious.

  • Double Workshop Candle Making & Pouring 01/21+02/04

    $120.00
    The Copper Faucet Soap Company x Slip Studio present a candle making workshop.  In this two-part workshop you’ll make your own ceramic vessel and then pour your own custom scented candle.

    Wednesday January 21st from 7-9pm  - Vessel Making  
    Part one includes a 2hr workshop of hands-on clay making.  Using the coil building method Ariella will walk you through shaping your clay vessels just the way you like them!  You'll shape, decorate and finish your pieces ready to be fired and glazed (in your choice of our house made glazes). 

    Wednesday February 4th from 7-9pm - Candle Pouring
    Part two will happen two weeks later, after your vessels are fired and cooled.  Jill from The Copper Faucet Soap Company will show you how to pour your own candle.  Participants will learn the basics of candle making including the different types of wax options, how to properly wick a candle, and candle making/burning safety. Choose from a variety of candle scents and wax colors. No experience necessary!

    Your personalized candles will be ready to take home at the end of the second workshop, just in time for Valentine’s Day!

  • Beginner Handbuilding - Wednesday Mornings

    This is a project-based class for beginners, each week we'll focus on a particular technique in handbuilding and surface decoration.  Learn the basics & expand your skills, creating unique pieces for your home and table. Explore different clay building techniques; coil building, slab rolling, using hump/slump molds, and wall extruder. 

    Wednesday mornings from 10am-1pm, January 6th-March 27th 2026. (No class the week of Feb 16)
